A workshop focused on making small, easy-to-make, independent zines. The goal is to use intuition to guide the process and not focus on making a "perfect end product". In this workshop, students are challenged to pick up analogue media and create without restriction.
The workshop uses prompts to give minimal direction to the students. They are free to interpret them however they want and make zines according to their own ideas and views. Examples of the prompts are an introduction zine, a review zine and a pass-along zine.
Below are pictures showcasing examples of work made by students of the 3rd and 4th year Illustrated & Animated storytelling course. The workshop can be adjusted to suit the skill and age of the students.
