My name is Sam Kaufmann (she/her), I’m an illustrator and merch designer living in Tilburg,  the Netherlands. 

As a huge nerd obsessed with anything fantasy,, my main goal is to create little pockets of escapism in our big world. Places where charismatic characters, fantastical imagery and whimsical loudness collide, to leave one entertained and enchanted.

Most recognisable by it’s  bright colors, epic fantasy elements and the occasional astronaut or two, my skills span from illustration to merch design, to concept art, giving workshops and even painting murals. 

Occasionally you can also find me tabling at conventions, helping out at art festivals or napping in the sunshine.

I’m available for freelance work and long term projects! I would love to work with you on (board)games, books, graphic novels, merchandise, and surface design. But feel free to reach out about any project involving big illustrative elements and limitless imagination!
